Nursery Facilities
Our opening hours are weekdays 7:30am-6:30pm and parents/guardians are welcome to drop off or collect between these times whenever they like, completely free of any further fees or charges. We are closed for Bank Holidays and during Christmas week.
Our fees are inclusive of breakfast, lunch, tea, snacks and drinks. Formula milk of your choice is also provided.
Branded nappies (Pampers or Huggies), wipes (and creams if required) are also supplied - although parents are welcome to supply their own brands if preferred.
The nursery is divided into four main age groups:
Baby Room
Non mobile babies (3 months to approximately 16 months) benefit from a bright and airy room. Staff cater for their individual requirements. We provide a dedicated sleep room where babies are supplied with their own bedding with the temperature constantly monitored to ensure babies are comfortable at all times. There is also a seperate change room linked to the baby room. Each baby is encouraged to develop through creative and sensory activities. We operate a 1:3 ratio in the Baby Room.
Tweenie Room
Located next to the baby room and linked by a low level partition the mobile babies (from approximately 16 months to 2 years) enjoy activities structured around their changing interests. As with the Baby Room we operate a 1:3 ratio in the Tweenie Room.
Toddler Room
Toddlers are located in a room that caters to their specific age group. With sensory and creative area’s to develop and stimulate their inquisitive minds plus a messy play area. Dedicated toilets and sinks allow this room to be self sufficient thereby developing and encouraging independence at this important time when the majority of children start ‘potty training’. The Toddlers benefit from having free-flow access to an outside play area with an impact absorbing surface and lots of outside equipment designed to encourage coordination and balance. We operate a 1:4 ratio in the Toddler Room.
Preschool Room
A large bright and spacious area the pre-school room allows children to develop their numeracy and literacy skills with specific areas to facilitate this. The room benefits from a creative area for messy play, a home corner, a reading corner, a computer area and a free play area to allow them to participate in a well-structured day which helps prepare them for primary school. In addition it has its own dedicated toilets and sinks to help encourage independence. We operate a 1:8 ratio in the Pre-school room.
Outside Play Areas
We have 4 secure outside play areas containing a variety of stimulating play equipment and climbing frames suitable for all ages and abilities. These areas promote every child’s passion for exploring and developing their social skills.
Car Park
A drop off and pick up area with a large car park helps to ensure that every visit to the nursery is welcoming and convenient for both your child and you.
